Scientology Hijacked Again

Has the Scientology Field been hijacked the same way the corporate church was?

It is well known the corporate Church of Scientology was hijacked by a cabal within the management ranks and it was successfully taken over and re-purposed for the benefit and aggrandizement of those in charge1. harmful energy or force accumulated and stored within the reactive mind, resulting from the conflicts and unpleasant experiences that a person has had. Auditing discharges this charge so that it is no longer there to affect the individual. (Scn AD)..more - led primarily by David Miscavige.

Field Scientologists (not on staff), and even the vast majority of lower echelon staff members had no idea this silent coup had occurred except to the degree they sensed "something was wrong". But locked into a false notion the best and really, the only remedy for perceived "outnessesThe condition of being out. Out: Things which should be there and aren't or should be done and aren't are said to be "out". (HCOB 19 Jun 71 III)" was to work internally to report and effect improvements, they suffered in misery while putting on a brave face for the world in hopes it would turn for the better. We now know that this was and is a futile path to reform... unless, if enough public and staff were able to come to either the gradual or the nearly simultaneous conclusion the ship was being skippered by mad men, then internal pressure and demand for a change in leadership would attain to a sufficient "tipping point" as to forcel. random effort. (Scn 0-8, p. 75) 2. energy with some direction. (PDC 56) 3. force of course is made up of time, matter, energy, flows, particles, masses, solids, liquids, gasses, space and locations. (HCOB 16 Jun 70) the removal of the leadership and correct the wrong doing.

But since 2009 with the publication of the St. Pete Times' seminal expose in its "Truth Rundown" report, certain ex-patriots, former members of the cabal itself, have undertaken to unleash such a steady stream of "whistle-blowing" expose's through their blogs and media contact interviews so as to capture the attention and hold hostage the attention of the (out) Field of Scientologists.

This activity has been so sensationalistic and so

the Field

The Scientology "Field" is composed of non-staff Scientologists. Anyone not working for the corporate entity known as "The Church of Scientology" are considered "Public" or Field Scientologists. This is further broken down into two main groups: those affiliated with the corporate church and those not. Those not affiliated with the corporate church are further segmented into loose alliances such as the "Free zone", "Ron's Org" and "Independent Scientologists". (Indies)

original purpose and function

From the early days of Dianetics1. DIA (Greek) through, NOUS (Greek) mind, deals with a system of mental image pictures in relation to psychic (spiritual) trauma. The mental image pictures are believed on the basis of personal revelation to be comprising mental activity created and formed by the spirit, and not by the body or brain. (BPL 24 Sept 73 V) 2. Dn addresses the body. Thus Dn is used to knock out and erase illnesses, unwanted sensations, misemotion, somatics, pain, etc. Dn came before Scn. It disposed of body illness and the difficulties a thetan was having with his body. (HCOB 22 Apr 69)...more and then Scientology, the Field was purposed with the task of introducing new people to the subject and making basic auditingThe application of Scientology processes and procedures to someone by a trained auditor. (Dianetics & Scientology Technical Dictionary (C) 1975) and training available to them. "Field" auditors were given special status and designations and were encouraged to set up practices after completing certification by the central organizations. As the central organizations grew throughout the 50's, 60's and 70's so too did Field "Missions" since the structure was designed to low new initiates from the Field up and onto the higher level services only available at corporate organizations.

"anyone who is active in the field, professionally, is classified as “field auditor1. one who listens and computes; a Scn practitioner. 2. one who has been trained in the technology of Scn. An auditor applies standard technology to preclears. 3. a person who through church training becomes skilled in the successful application of Dn and Scn to his family, friends and the public to achieve the ability gained as stated on the Gradation Chart for his class of training...more.”[1]

Many early pioneers and entrepreneurial types were successful at creating substantial organizations which in many cases, consisted of over a hundred staff and many hundreds of paying public. The largest number of such groups were in the USUnited States. (Modern Management Technology Defined (C) 1976). but there were substantial numbers worldwide as well.

It is important to understand the vast majority of new people getting involved with Scientology came into the movement through these Field activities rather than through the outreach efforts of the corporate, central organizations.

the first wave

The first wave of

the second wave

The second wave of mass exodus from the bosom of corporate Scientology took place in 2009...

Shortly thereafter the re-purposing took place.

"An Independent Scientologist is a Scientologist who PUBLICALLY condemns the criminality and corruption of David Miscavige and his supporters. One has to actually DO something to PUBLICALLY expose the conspiracy within the CoS to ruin lives for the sake of money and power."[3]
"If one refuses to do that, then naturally in the publical eye one still retains the color of an enemyWhen a person is an avowed and knowing enemy of an individual, a group, project or org, a condition of enemy exists. (Modern Management Technology Defined (C) 1976).. No one is going to trust you and you will be viewed at best as a coward. Why? Because you are condoning the violation of human rights."[3]

how to hijack a movement

“The people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same way in any country.” – Hermann Goering, Nuremberg Diary, 1947, (Gustave Gilbert).

So how does one hijack a movement?

Simple, just re-purpose it.

This can be seen in the current culture of the United States of America for a very broad example. Where up until several decades ago the dominant cultural attitude and 'purpose' was one of self-reliance and optimistic expectation that given hard work and a modicum of intelligent application of initiative, one could expect the rewards those things brought. But gradually that culture of optimistic self reliance in the pursuit of one's personal achievement was re-purposed to one of expectation of the handout.
