Scientology 8-8008
Scientology 8-8008 by L. Ron Hubbard was published on December 1, 1952 and presented in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania[1]. After L.Ron Hubbard died in 1986 the Church of Scientology was taken over (on a rather fast gradient) and L.Ron Hubbard's books were either published with alterations or not further published.
The first edition, of which there is a PDF available[2], is similar to the edition which you can download or read on your screen (see the link above) . The first edition was not typeset, but apparently written on a typewriter and duplicated. It was published in the United Kingdom. We don't know about the second edition (November 1953]. The third edition was typeset and printed (at the Foundry Press Ltd, Bedford UKAbbreviation for United Kingdom. (Modern Management Technology Defined (C) 1976)
) and published in January 1956. It was a hardback edition measuring 12.5 cm x 18.5 cm, black and with simple gold titling. It had a grey dust jacket with blue lettering [which we will reproduce here shortly]
