Our third year of presenting these awards for outstanding achievement toward the purpose of "Disseminating the positive aspects of the Subject of Scientology, its people, history, technologies and the founder" finds us making some changes to the festivities.
SCIOs
We're now calling these awards the SCIO Awards or SCIOs for short
Hopefully we'll get some help from a graphic artist to create an appropriate image we can postA position from which a terminal operates in an org, where one knows that somebody is at. Ron's Org Grenchen, headed by Max and Erica Hauri, continue to demonstrate an amazing level of dedication and purpose year after year after year.
Delivering to over 150 public all levels of the grade chart. only tells part of the story of this great group of dedicated Scientologists.
Max and RO Grenchen also oversee over eight hundred public across eighteen groups in Russia - by far the most robust and upstatOne who has high statistics. outstanding achievement - dissemination
Brian Cox developed the IOS App for iPhone's and iPad's which is based on this site's content.
Brian worked through many challenges to learn the programming for both the iOS app software and this site's software so he could pull real-time data into the app. As the site is updated, so too is the app.
This is Brian's second SCIO award (see the 2014 awards page for his work in developing the Scientolipedia torrent downloads)
Thank You Brian - VWD and carry on! (now we just need someone to do the Android app - anybody wanna take a shot at serious consideration for SCIO next year?)
outstanding achievement - social beterment
Merrell Vannier & Jim Jackson were a virtual Force majeure in 2015.
In addition to having already taken a bold stand against the insanity's of the corporate church's excesses with the website Save Scientology Merrell published his book Arrows in the Dark, which not only detailed some of the most poignant events in Scientology history, it single-highhandedly turned the narrative about Scientology in the face of overwhelming media negativity.
Merrrell also launched the Religious Liberty League website, collaborated on filing for a trademark for the newly initiated "First Independent Church of Scientology" (FICS) and is speaheading the establishment of that group.
Whew!!!
Jim Jackson, made headlines with his feature in the Tampa Bay Times series about the Church of Scientology wherein he made the casethe whole sum of past by-passed charge. (HCOB 19 Aug 63) for legal and corporate restructuring in a heretofore unpublished way.

(HCOB 19 Aug 63) for NOT seekiing to revoke the Church of Scientology's tax exempt status as this would be a bad outcome for religious liberty and those of us who seek to continue the Scientology religion - within or without the corporate church.
Both Jim and Merrell demonstrated a spectacular level of confront and willingness to do something positive in spite of personal danger and sacrifice. (deep bow and tip of the cap to you both)
