Info Box

Jump to: navigation, search

When I clicked my user red name a blank page appeared, so I created my own infobox. I put in category people, the next time I went in to reedit my user page the default infobox came up. I ignored it and now I have 2 infoboxes on my user page. Should I delete the infobox that I made and instead use the default one? Can my created infobox be mined? Can the default infobox be deleted?

When you added the "People" Category it told the system to use that Form.

You really don't need a Category on your User page. The User pages are just for basic info and Discussion like this, so when people see your comments they can click and find info about you. But everyone should have a page in the "Main" namespace as their main page.

My recommendation - delete the Category on your User page. when you save the page that should get rid of the Form infobox. (if not you should be able to go in and edit it off the page...let me if that doesn't work)

Then create a People page where you can copy-paste your info from the freezone-techAbbreviation for technology.
