Howard, please listen to this and let me know how it sounds. I messed up the audio on my computer while playing around with converting different audio formats. I hear it bu not sure how it sounds on a regular computer.

This is the first upload and a test. If this sounds good I'll probably re-do it with more pictures or improve the intro graphic. I wanted to test the upload and playability on one of the shorter recordings before working on the others.

This is the Mono recording. I used that because it had less pops and clicks (at least on my computer). I'll probably upload the stereo version for comparison later today or tomorrow.

P.S. this Youtube video is "private" so won't show up on search results.

I get nothing. It is not playing at all.

I tested in Chrome and it said "private" so I changed the Youtube status to "Unlisted". Came back and it plays on Chrome for me.

I may have to install a different player.

Now try it

You da man! Sounds great. I can hear the pops, but only because I know I should be. But it gives the audio an authentic tone, one of a bygone recording pre digital. I think we have a winner. You did a good job.

Howard Dickman13:41, October 14, 2012

Ok, good, we'll go with the mono versions then cause I think the sound quality is consistent with all the recordings.

Question: This particular player gives the option to have a playlist i.e. all the recordings could be scrolled through or selected from this one player...or...we can place the different recordings at different places in the article or on the site? thoughts?

Dl8800815:41, October 14, 2012

That is a good question. What if I build an info box with all the play selections. That way people can see what is on the LP and the 45 without having to click on the player.

Howard Dickman17:33, October 14, 2012

I have to give that some thought. There's the copyright issues of the recording's and I'm unsure if I want to display the album cover and all that, or just play the recordings and let it fly that way for now.

Is the owner of Axiom productions, or anyone, still around to contest this? I'll leave this to your more informed experience.
