video on Dick's page?

Hey Howard,

If you want to put the Youtube vid of Dick on his page you can look at the way it's done on the current blog page or let me know and I'll do it.

Dave

P.S. fabulous job on the bio. thanks for doing it!

Dl8800803:45, June 26, 2014

Thanks for suggesting this, you can do if you have the time. I'm on to my next project!

Howard Dickman04:02, June 26, 2014

post a link on your page

Howard, I caught myself from editing your RPFAbbreviation for 1. Rehabilitation Project Force. (Modern Management Technology Defined (C) 1976). The Rehabilitation Project Force has been created by the Commodore so that redemption can occur. (FO 3434) article by placing a link to your Page url in the info box. LOL

I decided, no, I'm not going to touch Howard's page, I'll send him a note instead.

In any casethe whole sum of past by-passed charge. (HCOB 19 Aug 63), I didn't see an obvious link back to your own page there.

BTW, we got quite a few hits coming from ESMB as a result of your postA position from which a terminal operates in an org, where one knows that somebody is at. (FO 2200) there. Thanks!

David

I have not put that link in on purpose. My Scientology story is still in progress. Once that story is finished I will add the link. Thanks; Howard

Howard Dickman13:03, December 20, 2013

I added a setting on the server to allow internal links in forma fields. e.g. in the "author" field you can put [[Howard Dickman]] and it will show up as a link to your page.

Without the new setting it wouldn't allow that.

Sorry but I tested it by doing it on your Howard Dickman page. :-)

Dl8800802:51, December 26, 2013

Looks good.

New version of WIG

Here's the new version of WIG. It's on the page. I will also be adding the other recordings as I can...soon, so they'll show up as a "playlist" where people can choose which recording to play.

Let me know any questions. David

What is Greatness

Howard, please listen to this and let me know how it sounds. I messed up the audio on my computer while playing around with converting different audio formats. I hear it bu not sure how it sounds on a regular computer.

This is the first upload and a test. If this sounds good I'll probably re-do it with more pictures or improve the intro graphic. I wanted to test the upload and playability on one of the shorter recordings before working on the others.

This is the Mono recording. I used that because it had less pops and clicks (at least on my computer). I'll probably upload the stereo version for comparison later today or tomorrow.

P.S. this Youtube video is "private" so won't show up on search results.

Dl8800819:46, October 13, 2012

I get nothing. It is not playing at all.

Howard Dickman20:27, October 13, 2012

I tested in Chrome and it said "private" so I changed the Youtube status to "Unlisted". Came back and it plays on Chrome for me.

I may have to install a different player.

Dl8800821:09, October 13, 2012

Now try it

Dl8800801:07, October 14, 2012

You da man! Sounds great. I can hear the pops, but only because I know I should be. But it gives the audio an authentic tone, one of a bygone recording pre digital. I think we have a winner. You did a good job.

Howard Dickman13:41, October 14, 2012

Ok, good, we'll go with the mono versions then cause I think the sound quality is consistent with all the recordings.

Question: This particular player gives the option to have a playlist i.e. all the recordings could be scrolled through or selected from this one player...or...we can place the different recordings at different places in the article or on the site? thoughts?

Dl8800815:41, October 14, 2012

That is a good question. What if I build an info box with all the play selections. That way people can see what is on the LP and the 45 without having to click on the player.

Howard Dickman17:33, October 14, 2012

I have to give that some thought. There's the copyright issues of the recording's and I'm unsure if I want to display the album cover and all that, or just play the recordings and let it fly that way for now.

Dl8800819:33, October 14, 2012

Is the owner of Axiom productions, or anyone, still around to contest this? I'll leave this to your more informed experience.

Infobox for Celebrity Centre's

Howard, an easier way to put the list of CCAbbreviation for 1. Celebrity Centre, 2. Clearing Course. (Modern Management Technology Defined (C) 1976).'s established by Yvonne other than a new "Infobox" would be to create a table for them. Editor > Advanced > table icon on the right. If you have trouble with this or want something else, we can talk or I can find one we can use. David

Dl8800818:09, October 21, 2012

adding links

Howard, I see some opportunities to link some people and articles to existing pages on the site. (seeing Mary Freeman's name made me think of it for example) I didn't want to edit and add the link to her or others before letting you know I was going to do it.

There's not very many of these yet but as other persons or corroborating articles are added to the site it will add to the interest of the article for people to browse other sources.

Thoughts?

Dl8800818:11, October 13, 2012

Good idea, but write the links down and when I get everything proofread and OK'd by the family I will look at your list and make the links. I really have quite a bit of work left to do. As you can see I have started adding things to her CCAbbreviation for 1. Celebrity Centre, 2. Clearing Course. (Modern Management Technology Defined (C) 1976). chapter, but I'm only up to 1970!

Howard Dickman20:30, October 13, 2012

Howard, I noticed the reference to Yvonne as a "stewart" and think you mean "steward". I didn't correct it in casethe whole sum of past by-passed charge. (HCOB 19 Aug 63) I am mistaken. David

Dl8800818:34, September 24, 2012

Good catch, thanks!

Howard Dickman20:04, September 24, 2012

Looks like you found your password eh? That's good, it will make it simpler to link your article to you. David

Dl8800803:22, September 8, 2012

When I clicked my user red name a blank page appeared, so I created my own infobox. I put in category people, the next time I went in to reedit my user page the default infobox came up. I ignored it and now I have 2 infoboxes on my user page. Should I delete the infobox that I made and instead use the default one? Can my created infobox be mined? Can the default infobox be deleted?

Howard Dickman19:24, March 21, 2012

When you added the "People" Category it told the system to use that Form.

You really don't need a Category on your User page. The User pages are just for basic info and Discussion like this, so when people see your comments they can click and find info about you. But everyone should have a page in the "Main" namespace as their main page.

My recommendation - delete the Category on your User page. when you save the page that should get rid of the Form infobox. (if not you should be able to go in and edit it off the page...let me if that doesn't work)

Then create a People page where you can copy-paste your info from the freezone-techAbbreviation for technology. The methods of application of an art or science as opposed to mere knowledge of the science or art itself. (HCOB 13 Sep 65).info page and pics and anything else. Link back and forth so people can find both. See my page David LaCroix
