"Hayes took his first Scientology course in 1993, later contributing endorsement blurbs for many Scientology books over the ensuing years. The frontispiece page for Scientology: The Fundamentals of Thought (1997 paperback edition) quotes Hayes as saying "If you really want to know about the mind3. a network of communications and pictures, energies and masses, which are brought into being by the activities of the thetan versus the physical universe or other thetans. In 1996, Hayes began hosting The Isaac Hayes and Friends Radio Show on WRKS in New York City. While there Hayes became a client of young vegan raw food chef, Elijah Joy and his company Organic Soul, Inc. Hayes also appears in the Scientology film Orientation.
In 1998, Hayes and fellow Scientologist entertainers Anne Archer, Chick Corea and Haywood Nelson attended the 30th anniversary of Freedom Magazine, the Church of Scientology's investigative news journal, at the National Press Club in Washington DC, to honor eleven activists.
In 2001, Hayes and Doug E. Fresh, another Scientologist musician, recorded a Scientology-inspired album called The Joy Of Creating – The Golden Era Musicians And Friends Play L. Ron Hubbard."[1]

L’APIS è stata creata per salvaguardare la filosofia originale e la tecnologia applicativa di Scientology, cosi come ricercata e sviluppata da L. Ron Hubbard.
Si tratta di un corpo professionale di persone, Auditor e gruppi che credono di avere il diritto e la libertà di praticare la filosofia originale di Lafayette Ronald Hubbard.

L'Associazione Professionale degli Scientologist Indipendenti (APIS) è un corpo professionale di individui, auditors e gruppi che credono nella libertà di praticare la filosofia originale di Lafayette Ron Hubbard.
I partecipanti all’APIS credono che, sin dalla morte del fondatore del movimento, la Chiesa di Scientology si sia completamente allontanata dagli scopi del gruppo e dalla filosofia originale che Hubbard ha prima ricercato e poi sviluppato.
Dato che i membri dell’APIS non desiderano partecipare alla pratica di una filosofia alterata, hanno deciso di praticare la filosofia da loro scelta in modo indipendente dalla Chiesa.
Questa è una rivitalizzazione della tecnologia originale di Lafayette Ron Hubbard conosciuta anche come Standard Technology.
L’APIS non è in competizione con la Chiesa di Scientology in quanto pratica il lavoro originale della filosofia di Lafayette Ron Hubbard non tenendo conto delle versioni profondamente alterate correntemente in uso all'interno della Chiesa ed impropriamente definite dalla stessa Dianetics1. DIA (Greek) through, NOUS (Greek) mind, deals with a system of mental image pictures in relation to psychic (spiritual) trauma. The mental image pictures are believed on the basis of personal revelation to be comprising mental activity created and formed by the spirit, and not by the body or brain. (BPL 24 Sept 73 V) 2. Dn addresses the body. Thus Dn is used to knock out and erase illnesses, unwanted sensations, misemotion, somatics, pain, etc. Dn came before Scn. L’APIS non è, per definizione, per gli Scientologist che continuano ad appartenere alla Chiesa. È per gli Scientologist che credono e praticano la filosofia originale e il lavoro tecnologico di Lafayette Ron Hubbard oppure per coloro che hanno lasciato la chiesa di loro iniziativa o che sono stati espulsi dalla chiesa. È anche per gli individui che stanno cercando un'illuminazione spirituale attraverso i credi e le pratiche della filosofia originale e della tecnologia correlata a quella filosofia, come originariamente esposta da Lafayette Ron Hubbard, e che non hanno desiderio di far parte della Chiesa nella sua forma attuale.
L’APIS crede che l’Uomo sia libero di seguire il suo percorso, e che le sue pratiche e credi religiosi non debbano essere limitati da nessun monopolio o copyright. Pertanto, le persone nuove che desiderano cercare l’illuminazione attraverso le pratiche di Scientology, non sono tenute per legge alla partecipazione esclusiva nella Chiesa ufficiale così come tutti i Cristiani non sono tenuti per legge alla partecipazione esclusiva nelle Chiese cattoliche e tutti i Giudei non sono per legge Ortodossi.
Questo significa che la Chiesa di Scientology (TM) sotto la guida e il controllo del Religious Technology Center, e ugualmente sotto il comando e il controllo della corporazione privata conosciuta come Church of Spiritual Technology, che si promuove come religione, non ha il monopolio dei credi e delle pratiche religiose degli Scientologist semplicemente per via della proprietà di alcuni copyrights e marchi d’impresa.
La Chiesa ha agito affrettatamente nel dichiarare in tribunale, che non è una compagnia commerciale o d’affari ma una religione. Eppure, ha cercato di applicare le leggi riservate alle compagnie commerciali, nel tentativo di controllare le pratiche religiose di altri. Il lavoro e la filosofia originale di Lafayette Ron Hubbard non sono in “competizione” per salvare l’anima dell’Uomo. Si tratta di una filosofia applicata e, come tale, è qualcosa su cui nessun uomo detiene un monopolio.
Precisamente come il creatore di questa filosofia ha dichiarato:
"…tutto ciò che sappiamo della scienza o della religione proviene dalla filosofia. È dietro e al di sopra di ogni altra conoscenza che abbiamo o usiamo."
"Per molto tempo considerato come un soggetto riservato per le sale di apprendimento e gli intellettuali, il soggetto, in misura notevole, è stato negato l'uomo della strada".
"Circondata da rivestimenti protettivi di scolarizzazione impenetrabile, la filosofia è stata riservata a pochi privilegiati."
"il primo principio della mia filosofia è che la saggezza è pensata per tutti coloro che desiderano raggiungerla. È serva dei comuni e dei Re e non dovrebbe mai essere vista con timore riverenziale ...

"Non conosco uomo che abbia un monopolio sulla saggezza di questo universo. Appartiene piuttosto a coloro che possono utilizzarla per aiutare se stessi e gli altri".
Di conseguenza, chiunque ha il diritto e la libertà di partecipare alle mete dell’APIS, agli scopi, agli obiettivi e alla filosofia del lavoro originale di Lafayette Ron Hubbard, senza alcun impedimento.
Gli scopi dell’APIS (Association of Professional Indipendent Scientologist) incudono:
Preservare, proteggere e promuovere l’esatta tecnologia e l’originale filosofia funzionale di Lafayette Ron Hubbard, per l’uso futuro cosi che sia disponibile per tutta l’Umanità.
Stabilire comunicazione e comprensione tra i membri dell’APIS e altre comunità.
Promuovere e sponsorizzare attività educative che portino l'attenzione del pubblico generale sull’esatta tecnologia e l’originale filosofia funzionale di Lafayette Ron Hubbard e allo stesso tempo la insegnino.
Difendere l’APIS da ogni tentativo di inibirne l’esistenza e l’espansione.
Assistere nella difesa di ognuno dei suoi membri, nell’eventualità di un procedimento legale a detrimento della libertà del suo esercizio legale di praticare la propria religione o filosofia e della relativa tecnologia originale e funzionale di Lafayette Ron Hubbard.

Life is a journey. I believe that life is all about creating, and that creating has no limits or boundaries. I believe that a being is capable of achieving anything he truly wants. Unfortunately, my observation has been that the ability to create has come to a screeching halt for many, and that many of us live in darkness. I’ve known and observed the adherents of numerous religions, and experienced several of these for myself. It seems to me that people tend to follow the leading voice of a religion and find comfort and security in being told what to do, and that few of us stand up and think for ourselves.
I’m saying these things here to share my reality, and my experiences and observations with all; I’ve never been one to blindly accept, uninspected, the things I was told by my parents, friends or churches. I wanted something more. I always wanted to explore my abilities and the possibilities in my life; really, I just wanted to create for myself a better state of beingness, and come to understand who I am.

I went with Dex, because he grants me so much beingness, he listens and understands. He is supportive of other auditors and does not evaluate or speak badly of other auditors or PCs. I like Dex, because he does not put up with BS and confronts matters right on the spot. I continue with Dex because I am having so many wins.
