Last week August 12th 2012 I graduated two of my five students through the Comm course. They are the first of hopefully many more to come. We gave them certificates that look great and they were very excited as we gave them to them and clapped and cheered for them and their successes.

Here are their wins from the course,

I feel I gained a better understanding of communication1. the consideration and action of impelling an impulse or particle from source point across a distance to receipt point with the intention of bringing into being at the receipt point a duplication and understanding of that which emanated from the source point. (HCOB 5 Apr 73)...more and how it works. I also feel I have more control over my body and emotions and feel I can confront a lot more in general. For example I don’t get so worked up when my brother Jazz disagrees with me. I can Acknowledge his point of view and then decide where to go from there. I don’t just think of my own view point and refuse to be wrong.

Also I don’t know if this is important or not, but I appreciate being able to keep a straight face a lot better, for example, when telling a joke or hearing something funny, annoying, or mean.

I also feel I can handle conversations and upset a lot better. It’s really weird looking back to previous conversations and thinking of how I should have handled it better. Or looking back and easily pointing out whyThat basic outness found which will lead to a recovery of stats. This is possibly the earliest relatively impartial book on Scientology and its history. It is not written by an Ex-Scientologist or a reporter, but by a sociologist. He says in his preface:

I began my work on Scientology as a raw graduate student, fascinated by the relationship between beliefs, social organisation and society. While I had initially intended that Scientology be considered as one amongst a range of unorthodox system[s] of belief to which I proposed to devote attention, I found myself increasingly interested by the rich body of material I was uncovering on this multifaced movement.

To those who left, or were ex-communicated from, the "Church" during the first great exodus (1980 on), it was somewhat of a surprise to find some one had written such a book. Though a lot more data has been uncovered in the intervening years, it provided some surprises to those who had recently left or been thrown out of the Scientology "Church".

The book is 282 pages, hardbound 15 cms x 24 cms and is published by Columbia University Press, New York, but the edition seen here is printed in Great Britain. It contains a fair amount of the data on Scientology that has been later published [a fuller summary needed and therefore invited].

The four page Appendix by J.L. Simmons, Ph.D. states in the second sentence "Unfortunately his [Roy Wallis'] study has little to do with Dianetics1. DIA (Greek) through, NOUS (Greek) mind, deals with a system of mental image pictures in relation to psychic (spiritual) trauma. The mental image pictures are believed on the basis of personal revelation to be comprising mental activity created and formed by the spirit, and not by the body or brain. (BPL 24 Sept 73 V) 2. Dn addresses the body. Thus Dn is used to knock out and erase illnesses, unwanted sensations, misemotion, somatics, pain, etc. Dn came before Scn. The first four full paragraphs at that link are not part of the book but a description of the book. This scan in could be valuable to deeply interested, containing data from early Dianetic and Scientology times which may not be available elsewhere, and data which may corroborate or amplify other sources. The scanning leaves something to be desired, involving patience in sorting out footnotes (of which there are quite a few) from main text and uncorrected spelling (scanning) mistakes.

Un maestro, tutor o entrenador de cualquier nivel deben de ser capaces de escuchar a aquellos a quienes guian, entrenar o capacitan; y viceversa.

Capaces de generar cambios en la vida de las personas no sólo dentro de una sesión de auditación; sino en la vida diaria por medio de las herramientas de ética, administración y consciencia.

Capaces de entender que la educación en cualquier tema, un entorno adecuado, nutrición y salud bajo supervisión médica, son terapias válidas y que no sólo dentro de una sesión formal de auditación se generan cambios positivos.

Y sobre todo auditores que no sean ciegos a la verdad. Que puedan ver puntos fuera dentro de Scientology o en cualquier otra área y puedan cambiar esas realidades. Auditores que vean a sus guias como humanos y puedan ver los errores de sus guias y los suyos propios y no tiren la toalla a pesar de su naturaleza human y por lo tanto susceptible de errores.

Sólo el cobarde ataca a alguien de buena voluntad.

Sólo el demente critica mientras está cruzado de brazos.

Sigo auditando y es algo bueno cuando se hace con sentido común, sin arbitrarios ni dogmas.

In the book Science of Survival, pg 174 in Chapter 11 Lock Scanningone contacts an early lock on the track and goes rapidly or slowly through all such similar incidents straight to present time. One does this many times and the whole chain of locks become ineffective in influencing one. (HFP, pp. 99-100) Ron says:

Grade 0 Release3. a person who has been able to back out of his bank. The bank is still there but the person isn't sunk into it with all its somatics and depressions. Hmm...where to start? I feel very good and easy now with being able to listen on any subject, where before certain subjects frightened me or were taboo. Now I feel most subjects are OK to talk about and much more safe and normal. I can also outflow and give my opinion or feelings as well! And it seems good, fine, normal and great for everyone to be able to communicate freely on any subject. In fact, the subjects that were previously taboo seem now to be the ones most needed to talk about!

This freedom to communicate easier is flowing into my personal relationships such as with my romantic and love interests! I can talk and listen to friends better. My time with my family seems more real and authentic.

I think I have been hiding my authentic self for some time (i.e. all my life) and now I feel to express and show who I am! It is helping me to be a better doctor, to listen, hear and speak on previously frightening subjects. People open up to me easier now because they sense my comfort. it is really wonderful!

I feel more connected to strangers as well. Now I do not have to wait for a stranger to to break the awkward silence. Instead I often will speak first and strike up interesting conversations with strangers and seem to have friends everywhere I go. I am not so alone anymore! We are all alone in some ways. Our only way to not be alone is to communicate. I am not alone anymore because I communicate well. It does not have to be only superficial communication1. the consideration and action of impelling an impulse or particle from source point across a distance to receipt point with the intention of bringing into being at the receipt point a duplication and understanding of that which emanated from the source point. 1.R/S. called a rock slam because it is a needle manifestation which is achieved when the is approaching what we once called “the rock.” There's something earlier than the rock and that's a goal. It's a great deal of random needle motion occurring solely because of the current being set up amongst the items and identities a person has assumed in the progress of executing his or her goals. It could be called a goals slam which we will not call it. It's a convulsing, and in the absence of a slamming needle you will very often find a convulsing body. A rock slam is a crisscross of currents which is throwing a around . ( Spec 190, 6209C18) 2. a R/S or rock slam is defined as a crazy irregular slashing motion of the needle. It can be as narrow as one inch or more than a full dial in width, but it's crazy! It slams back and forth. It is actually quite startling to see one. It is very different from other phenomena. ( 1 Nov 74) 3. that needle agitation which erratically covers more than three quarters of an inch on the dial. A rock slam is the response of an to the conflict between terminals and opposition terminals. It indicates a fight, an effort to individuate, an extreme games which in the absence of would seek unsuccessfully to separate while attacking. As the pc's attention is guided to the items involved the games activates and is expressed on the as a ragged, frantic response. The wider the response the more recognizable (to the pc) is the reality of the games and the violence of the conflict.
