All of the functionality of keeping the needle on set can be done automatically or at the users discretion with a single touch of the needle dial, or on either side of the dial, all at the users preference. The user has the option to automatically bring the needle to set if one chooses through a toggle in the application. It does take some getting used to in comparison to an analog Mark VII, however we adjusted to it in less than a few minutes use out of the box. Instant reads were more responsive also being due to the lack of physical universe vias in the mechanics of analog meters.

I'm so very happy to have done it with Trey. He did an amazing job, every session was a pure joy.

The big wins for me on OT5 are related to power and freedom.

I have gained a big amount of power in life. Power of choice and capability of causing bigger effects.

Freedom in life, in which I can go and look at things without being pushed away or shrugged by things that might still interest me.

It is a different viewpoint. Anything causing me to look away makes me interested in it rather than following this strange idea of having to look away.

I still feel like this is just the start of a great race, where the big goal is OT7. But OT5 is in itself an incredible level, worthy of celebrations in plenty.

Pre-Scientology

Thok was an artist and worked in films. In the Danish Film Himlen er Blå (1956 The Sky is Blue) he played an artist with a lot of the Danish top actors. He did early children's TV (Danish) cartoons. In the beginning of the 60s Thok worked with Professor Kapok og Mekaniker Nik which was a puppet show, where the two figures fly around in a balloon. It was a weekly series which ran for a few years and Thok wrote the story.

Outside organisational Scientology

He was well known in the Splinter movement (Free Zone) in Denmark. He was interested in Origami http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Origami and was invited a number of times to the Japanese Origami association at their expense. When he did not die at the age of 80 as he expected, he did not know what to do, and so set up a commemorative Internet site (for himself) filled with his cartoon figures, which unfortunately was not maintained after his death.

Thom Page owned Delta Meters in the late 60s and early 70s. Built and repaired the old wooden meters. Many of you old timers may remember him from either buying a or having yours fixed very reasonably. Thom was in his 40s when he had a heart attack. It has been several years ago.

This site owes a great deal to pioneers and innovators, like (Sir) Tim Berners-Lee who had the vision and intellect to create the world-changing technologies we are using.

The World Wide Web has evolved from merely displaying static documents, i.e. text only (Web 1.0), to Web 2.0 where pages could become DYNAMIC in their ability to present images, video and many other elements that make the Internet a far more compelling experience.

The web of data

His vision for Web 3.0 is to make the content on pages useful in many ways beyond what is done today. He gives some examples but I urge you to use your imagination about our own subject matter. If you think there might be ways the technologies and DATA L Ron Hubbard left us could be more easily displayed and presented to people - then you are thinking along the same track as Mr. Berners-Lee.

Scientolipedia.org is embracing these ideas and as of this writing is in its infancy in presenting some adaptations of them.

storytellers

Have you noticed that some people can tell a story better than others?

One guy can recount an event and leave people yawning while another could tell the same story with enthusiasm and gestures and amusing anecdotes and have everyone captivated and riveted to their seats. Probably all the arts are devoted to finding ways of communicating in unique ways that get us to look at things differently.

The creation of the Internet and the later innovation by Sir Tim Berners-Lee of the World Wide Web (WWW), has been a technological revolution toward "telling the story" in a better way.

The early "flat document" presentation of data on the Web was a giant step forward but compared to what we have today was much like the boring raconteur described above. It exploded onto the world and people were amazed with it and universally embraced it because at the time, it was a way of telling the story beyond anything ever imagined.

The revolution/evolution continues and it's all about how to tell a better story.

In the late '90's the Web took an evolutionary jump and started presenting data, telling the story, by including pictures and video and graphics and links and many other elements on web pages to make them far more interesting.

Now the story-tellers or more precisely, the people who enable us to tell our stories, are moving the Web in the direction of making the Data more usable and presentable.

Confusing terminology hides this fact from most people. But the bottom lineThe military type of organization form whereby there is a definite ascending and descending chain of command. Orders pass from top management down the line of command and compliances and data pass on up without by-passing the chain of command. (Modern Management Defined (c) L. Ron Hubbard, 1976) of it all is that it is enabling us to tell stories better.

Scientolipedia.org is in the early stages of embracing and utilizing those technologies. It is a far better way to "tell the story" of LRHL. Ron Hubbard, Scientology, Scientologists and the Tech than any other effort or application available today.

The fact that its outside "skin" has yet to be designed, may be hiding the roaring Nascar racer underneath. So it's been an uphill struggle to demonstrate this claim.

But if you think there might be a better way to tell the Scientology story, keep people interested and put the subject in its proper perspective - then we are in agreement.
