Can the left pane menu be expanded to include standard MediaWiki options?

Apart from the visually annoying ALL CAPS in the left pane menu, it would seem to me as an experienced wiki editor that the site would be easier to get a hold of if several of the tools which have been left out here but which can be beheld in a regular Wikipedia page were reinstated. In particular

as well as the multifarious Special:SpecialPages

With my 50,000+ edits to the English Wikipedia I certainly found these resources very useful from time to time. As you can see I can use them via a workaround, but I should think they would be nifty also to present contributors to this wiki, besides mysef who has only very recently registered as a user and basically have no idea if I am going to become a regular contributor to this project in any capacity.

As adminA contraction or shortening of the word administration, admin is used as a noun to denote the actions involved in administrating an organization. (Modern Management Technology Defined (C) 1976). surely will acknowledge I have made a little mess by adding this discussion. I had to do it by circumventing the scripted method for submitting new discussion starts. We can fix that, but for now I would like the issues of this topic start discussed! __Halvor Raknes (talk) 18:05, February 29, 2020 (UTC)

=== re changes to layout ===
I suppose the requested items could be added but I'm not inclined to do so at this time.
Higher priority are things like:
  1. new "responsive" skin optimized for tablets & phones
  2. server side updates and upgrades such as software version update, MySQL & PHP updates and sever itself moved/upgraded
  3. more biographical and historical content
  4. long term and permanent funding stream to do the above.
Although I'm glad you've taken an interest in editing the site, it's a bit annoying that one of your first actions is to modify this discussion forum for example, rather than use the existing discussion threading feature.
I'm also wondering if you understand the purpose and function of the website.
The layout and use of the semantic mediawiki extension were all calculated to communicate to the diverse Scientology community, many of which are not computer savvy, for one thing, and need an easier way to make edits, create templates and pages and notate references and such.
Bare-bones wikipedia is too steep a gradient for our users.
So I've had to calculate the trade offs making the site accessible would entail.
Thanks for your suggestions.
Best,
Dave
The only reason I felt I had to take the chance of annoying you, and I unfortunately did, by posting in this manner was that the intermediary interface which you have here doesn't allow me to postA position from which a terminal operates in an org, where one knows that somebody is at. (FO 2200) the above postA position from which a terminal operates in an org, where one knows that somebody is at. (FO 2200). It should be possible to accommodate both low techAbbreviation for technology. The methods of application of an art or science as opposed to mere knowledge of the science or art itself. (HCOB 13 Sep 65) savvy community members and someone like myself. I don't see the necessary conflict. __Halvor Raknes (talk) 20:34, March 1, 2020 (UTC)
Halvor,
Question: As a logged-in user, is the link on this page "Start a new Discussion" available to you?
Thanks
