Apart from the visually annoying ALL CAPS in the left pane menu, it would seem to me as an experienced wiki editor that the site would be easier to get a hold of if several of the tools which have been left out here but which can be beheld in a regular Wikipedia page were reinstated. In particular

With my 50,000+ edits to the English Wikipedia I certainly found these resources very useful from time to time.
