Denise Byrne-Holland passed away the evening of Friday April 26th, with myself and my sister Laura at her bedside. Also present were many of her good friends, including her family doctor of 17 years. Although the expert and caring staff at St Michael's Hospital did everything they could, it was determined that Denise would not likely regain consciousness. The trauma caused by a subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) came very quickly and the damage was irreversible. Denise Byrne passed away the evening of Friday April 26th, with her Son Adam Holland and his sister Laura at her bedside. Also present were many of her good friends, including her family doctor of 17 years. Denise was a true hero in the fight for human rights and freedoms; especially those violated by Scientology
