Joe Harrington was an active USA Scientologist at the time of the great split (1983). As Internet came into use he was very active.
He met and married a Swedish Scientologist, and I believe died in Helsingborg, Sweden. I remember one trip I made with him and his wife to a group in Gottenborg, further north. (His widow's Internet address bounces - I hope someone else can add something, as he was he was quite a figure in the free Scientology scene in the mid 80s.)
