Has the Scientology Field been hijacked the same way the corporate church was?

It is well known the corporate [http://scientology.org Church of Scientology] was hijacked by a [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cabal cabal] within the management ranks and it was successfully taken over and re-purposed for the benefit and [http://www.thefreedictionary.com/aggrandizement aggrandizement] of those in charge - led primarily by [http://freeheber.com/index.php?title=David_Miscavige David Miscavige].

Field Scientologists (not on staff), and even the vast majority of lower echelon staff members had no idea this silent coup had occurred except to the degree they sensed "something was wrong". But locked into a false notion the best and really, the only remedy for perceived "outnesses" was to work internally to report and effect improvements, they suffered in misery while putting on a brave face for the world in hopes it would turn for the better. We now know that this was and is a futile path to reform.

Unless, enough public and staff were able to come to either the gradual or the nearly simultaneous conclusion the ship was being skippered by mad men, then internal pressure and demand for a change in leadership would attain to a sufficient "[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Tipping_Point tipping point]" as to force the removal of the leadership and correct the wrong doing.

"Field" auditors were given special status and designations and were encouraged to set up practices after completing certification by the central organizations. As the central organizations grew throughout the 50's, 60's and 70's so too did Field "Missions" since the structure was designed to low new initiates from the Field up and onto the higher level services only available at corporate organizations.
