Greetings:
In my years involved with the Church from 1959 until 1981, more than 20 years, I held many posts. In Washington, D.C. in 1961, I was a staff-to-staff auditor and Extension Course Director. In 1962 and 1963, I was Director of the New York Org. I also did the intro talks, courses like the Anatomy of the Human Mind and P.E. Course, and I also created and directed a thriving co-audit course. I then went back to college until about 1967 when I again became the intro lecturer for the new New York Org. In 1968 I went to St. Hill for Power Processing and the SHSBC course which I completed at ASHO in 1969. While at St. Hill, I conducted Church services, did Intro lectures and special problem solving evenings for the public. When I came to L.A. to finish the SHSBC and do Solo, Clearing and OT I, II, and III, I continued to do church services and special problem solving workshops.
After I resigned from the church in 1981, I again created problem-solving workshops, using Scn. tech. but also incorporating every useful problem-solving tool I could find. I then wrote a book entitled, "Problem Solving Power," and for about a year I ran what I called S.O.S., "Solutions-on-Saturday." Every Saturday morning for 2 1/2 hours I ran a brainstorming meeting where people would come with their problems. Various people in the group would suggest solutions along with my more detailed tech recommendations. The group was quite successful. One man obtained a position of Marketing Vice President he had been seeking with a major HMO. Many others got satisfactory solutions to life, relationship and career problems.
I am now hoping to resume this activity on a more limited basis at my home, 358 N. Bronson Avenue, near Paramount Studios in Los Angeles. Initially I'm promoting to ex-Scios because I wish to be careful whom I invite into my home. Although I'm not limiting the group to ex-Scios, attendees should all be referred by someone I know can be trusted. If enough people indicate an interest in attending, I'll schedule some meetings, but at this point no group exists. This message is also going out to friends who don't live in L.A., but If any of you know a few people in this area who might be interested, I can be contacted by phone or e-mail as noted on this page. Or you can simply send their e-mail address to me and I'll invite them. If anyone would like to meet with me to get an idea of what I'm proposing, I'd enjoy having him or her come over for tea. My problem is I can rarely get away from the house because my wife is an invalid and I have to be home to care for her.

It has been considered taboo to talk about Sex, Politics and Religion for some time in the United States. One would wonder why this is such a bad thing as the country was founded by free thinkers and freedom of speech. So why is it considered Taboo these days to discuss the very thing that made this country great? In the days of the Greeks some of the most famous philosophers that we now study talked about these very things. How is a man or a women to grow spiritually if they can not communicate on subjects, if it is wrong to look?

L. Ron Hubbard says in the book The Phoenix Lectures page 258;

"And we go up a little higher and we get to the way you do make space which is by looking. And actually you get to make space by knowing. If you just knew there was some space, there would be some space, and that would be all there was to that. Just that simple. That's an effective way to go about it, and looking is another effective way to go about it, and when we get down to emotion, that is getting ineffective. People who try to make space with emotion don't get very far. That's literally, actually, figuratively, or any other way you want to look at it. It's too condensed, and it kicks back. Yet that is above the individual who makes space by working hard or by pushing hard or by exerting force."

"In other words we see that there is quite a little bit of band there, at effort, and you'll see that they get less far than people who try to make space with emotion. And now we get into the thinking band, and people who try to make space with thinking, which is about the most unworkable
activity that anybody could engage in. This is the most condensed activity you can get into: sex. You can see somebody's bank all short-circuited—jammed on sex. But remember, we are looking at a gradi- ent scale that runs from Sexingness right on up through the levels to Know- ingness."

It is by looking and communicating that people grow spiritually and today I find people that I run into that say wow you are a Scientologists? Can you tell me about it? And I say sure. And they say really? you are the first that is willing to talk to me about it. And this has happened quite a few times and I think we are Scientologists we should be the first to stand up and to communicate. We are America's that fought for this right to communicate and yet we are still afraid to even speak of our own faith.

I am hoping with this video that we can start the dialogue that our founding fathers once took up and begin to look again at politics sex and religion and ethics. That we as Scientologists will lead this country to have all the greatness that it was intended and that we can lead this world to a new place a place where men think and communicate freely. My name is Charese Mongiello. I am currently a Script Supervisor for movies. This means I basically make sure that the product is correct and able to be edited, as well as write the notes to the editor so the movie can be finished. I have acted in 6 feature films and starred in one of them. I have directed 7 plays, 1 feature film, and now I am producing my 3rd feature film as a producer. I am a past life Scientology Exec. Bob and Joan Mongiello are my parents. They, at the time I was born, had built one of the largest mission in the world. My dad started with 3 staff and brought it to 187 staff with 1,800 people on lines. It took him 7 years to do this. View video. This life mainly I read books, listened to tapes daily, and studied policy’s. My mother gave all of us courses in TR’s.

In the eighties our family was attacked by the Church many times. My mother used LRH policy’s to stop the attacks (this is the main reason I am not afraid of the church). I think that we were attacked mainly because my Dad was such a great business man some had felt it necessary to come after my family. As this was the surest way to bury this great technology. My dad with my mom taught their eight children about running a business using LRH business technology. This technology on business far surpasses any thing I have ever read on running a business, and is a main reason why my family is very successful in a majority of our endeavors. But mostly, like my dad, we enjoy helping others grow their business.

I was instrumental in helping my parents get back on the bridge and getting auditing. At different times members of our family thought we were never going to get auditing again this life. I found out about the Freezone I read about it and Ron’s Org on the internet. I was excited and cautious but still started looking for auditors to audit my family and myself. This was a scary time because I knew once I made this decision to receive this auditing, I could never go back to the Church. But as things were with the Church, they were not letting us back, nor could they formally removing us. Limbo is not fun.

I got into session right away and had complications because of my past life case. I went to two auditors who were auditing above their auditing skill. Although I admire them for their years of service to mankind, I was not too happy about how they had handled my case.

I decided to take a break.

My dad soon found an auditor. I was out in Guatemala reading “The Phoenix Lectures” by LRH. My dad called and said “Charese I found you the best auditor in the world.” I said “Dad I will be the judge of that.” When I met her, her Communication was so incredible, I was happy. I got into session with her immediately upon my return.

Since then, I finished a repair on my grades, OT I and II, and now just recently III and L12. I am currently on NOT’s. My father, Bob is a business owner and has finished OT III and NOT’s. My mom is a business owner and has finished OT III, and is working through NOT’s. My brother, Anthony, is a successful photographer and is doing OT III. My sister Candace is a mother of one, does sales at my mom’s company, is a Mini Course Sup and Method One Co Audit as well as OT III. My sister, Stephanie, is a mother of four and financial officer at my mother’s company and is OT I. My brother in law, Henry, is a Mini Course Sup and Method One Co audit as well as an OT I. My brother, David, works as a robotics engineer and is OT I.

Although we were all kicked out of the Church and attacked heavily, we managed to survive and stick together through disconnection and reconnection! I believe that it is the strong group that we have as a family that has pulled us through. I also believe that people should find good Scientologists, with honor and integrity, to help them on their journey up the bridge.

When we were kicked out the first time. We had complained: “Mom , Dad we want Scientology now we can’t have it” My parents laughed at us and said: “ You guys have Scientology, it is in the books and tapes, it is all there, nobody can take that away or give it to you. You have to give it to yourself.”

From reading all on my own I have reached an understanding that can never be taken away. And if I dare say, if I had grown up in the Church I may not have had such a full grasp of the Tech. Actually, I know now that I would not have, because most of the people I have met from the Church do not read or listen to Scientology. Sadly they accept what they are told about it.
